What's inside

Five tabs covering every part of a church A/V budget.

Each category has line items with quantity, unit cost ranges, auto-calculated totals, and a priority column so you can phase the project if needed.

  • Audio equipment

Mixing consoles, microphones, speakers, amplifiers, monitors, signal infrastructure, and accessories — with quantity and cost columns for each line item.

  • Video and display

Projectors, screens, LED displays, cameras, PTZ controllers, video switchers, presentation computers, and ProPresenter licensing.

  • Streaming and broadcast

Encoding hardware and software, streaming platforms, internet and networking, and stream accessories — with annual subscription notes where relevant.

  • Installation and labor

System design, cable runs, rack build, speaker rigging, commissioning, tuning, and volunteer training — broken out as separate line items.

  • Budget summary with contingency

A summary tab pulls totals from each category and adds a 12% contingency buffer. Adjust the rate to match your committee's risk tolerance.

Questions

Common questions about the template.

Is this a formal quote?
No. The cost ranges are estimates based on typical church-scale A/V systems in the Greater Philadelphia area. Use it for internal planning and committee approval — then contact us for a quote based on your actual space.
What format is the file?
The template opens directly in Google Sheets. Click the link and Google will prompt you to make a copy to your own Drive — no sign-up required, just a Google account.
Are the cost ranges accurate?
They reflect realistic ranges for church-scale systems, but final pricing depends on brand, quantity, regional labor rates, and facility complexity. The ranges give your committee a realistic starting point for budget approval.
Can we use this for a phased project?
Yes. Each line item has a Priority column — Essential, Nice-to-Have, or Phase 2 — so you can separate what you need now from what can wait.
