Church A/V Upgrade
Church Stage IEM System Upgrade and Volunteer Handoff
Heavenly AVI upgraded the church's stage monitoring workflow by adding in-ear monitor systems for musicians and wireless IEM for singers, along with re-cabling and DI integration to support cleaner stage audio. We also completed a handoff session with volunteers so they could operate the system confidently after installation.
Project challenge
What needed to be solved
The existing stage setup needed a cleaner and more reliable workflow for musicians and singers. Cable routing, source management, and stage monitoring were being improved to support clearer audio on stage and a more manageable volunteer-friendly system.
Work performed
What Heavenly AVI handled
We installed PreSonus in-ear monitor systems for musicians, added wireless IEM for singers, re-cabled the stage audio paths, and added DI connections where needed to improve signal quality. The system was then organized for operation and reviewed with volunteers in a handoff session covering basic use and day-to-day operation.
Process
How the work moved forward
- Assessed the stage audio workflow and monitoring needs
- Installed and connected in-ear monitor systems for musicians
- Added wireless IEM for singers
- Re-routed and re-cabled stage audio connections
- Added DI connections to help improve signal quality
- Verified mixer and monitor routing on stage equipment pictured in the project photos
- Conducted a handoff session with volunteers on system operation
Outcome
What changed after the work
The stage setup now supports a cleaner monitoring workflow and a more practical operating process for the church team. Volunteers were trained on how to use the system, helping make the upgrade easier to maintain between services.
